From August 1st until Labor Day, several Houston restaurants will be participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks to support the Houston Food Bank. Come out to your favorite local restaurants for meal specials throughout Harris, Galveston, and Montgomery counties at this month-long event.
The restaurant list for this year’s Houston Restaurant Weeks is a mile long and includes many local favorites. Guests can choose to dine out for brunch, lunch, and/or dinner at various locations in the area. There are four meal plans that range from $20 to $45 per person. These include either a 2 or a 4-course meal. Participating restaurants will donate $3 to $7 per meal. That generates a total of 9 to 21 meals for the Houston Food Bank!
The cuisine choice this year is quite diverse. At 51Fifteen Cuisine and Cocktails, you can choose three different courses from a variety of dinner selections including a soup or salad, octopus or pork chops, and pannacotta or chocolate cake. For lunch, guests can choose between a roasted chicken club, Manhattan strip, chicken salad, or blackened salmon. And you bet dessert is included! Choose between mixed berry sorbet, cheesecake, and white chocolate bread pudding. You may also consider attending brunch for chicken and waffles or their ‘American Breakfast’ with eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. This is only one of the dozens of restaurants available through Restaurant Weeks, so be sure to check out other participating locations.
A Chance to Win
You may also enter for a chance to win $100 gift cards for participating locations. The Cleverley Food Talk Radio Show will be giving away gift cards every Saturday between 9 am to 12 pm, so tune in for your chance to win.
