Attend Houston’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

It’s one of our favorite holidays, a time for loved ones and gratitude for the year’s bounties. This year, celebrate Thanksgiving the fun way by attending Houston’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and enjoying a delicious feast after.

Houston’s H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade (November 28th)

2019 marks the 70th year of the H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade; there’ll be six talented high school bands participating, not to mention the exciting new floats planned for the parade.

The parade starts at 9:00 a.m., so be sure to get there early. If you’re looking for reserved seating, order your tickets as soon as possible. Note that the event will proceed rain or shine. So, there’ll be no refunds available for tickets purchased. Seating for the parade opens at 7:00 a.m., and you must be in your seat by 8:15 a.m. (no exceptions).

This event promises to be even more spectacular than the one last year. You’ll hear the marching bands performing along a 20-block route. Flags will be waving, high-flying balloons will be floating in the air, and costumed characters will be marching during the parade.

Best of all, the parade grand marshals this year will be James Harden from the Houston Rockets and Jose Altuve from the Houston Astros!

If you can’t be there in person, tune in at home. Speaking of a feast, there’s a restaurant where you can enjoy a scrumptious meal without lifting a finger to prepare it.

Maggiano’s 2019 Thanksgiving Day Buffet

After a morning of parade excitement, it’s time to enjoy a feast! Just 30 minutes away, you’ll find Maggiano’s Little Italy, where you can get a delicious Thanksgiving meal at affordable prices. Be sure to check out the vast selection of buffet items at the website above.

Adults get to enjoy the smorgasbord of delights for only $55.00 each. Meanwhile, children from ages five to 11 can dine for $15.00 each. If any children under five will be attending, their meals are free!

Note that the prices above include tax & gratuity costs. If, however, you experience difficulty booking online, call 713-961-3565. The restaurant will do its best to make it work for you and your party. You’ll also want to call if you have special seating requests.

All in all, Houston’s Thanksgiving Day Parade promises plenty of fun for everyone, while Maggiano’s Little Italy will serve the perfect Thanksgiving feast.
