Find Your Pup a Treat at These Houston Dog Bakeries

Does your dog look for regular treats on a frequent basis? If so, head to one of these Houston dog bakeries to stock up on some of the freshest goodies in town.

Yale Street Dog House & Bakery

This popular Yale Street bakery began from humble beginnings in 2017. Today, it continues to offer cage-free daycare, boarding, and pet-sitting for small-dog breeds. It’s certainly the “small dog place to be in Houston.” The bakery was added last year, and the bakers always offer new selections. The finest, freshest ingredients go into making each treat.

One of the most popular offerings includes the “Some-More” treats. They’re made with cookies, dog-friendly marshmallows, and local honey. And, if your pup is celebrating a special milestone, get him a “Pup-Tart, which consists of a fruit jam sandwiched between two peanut butter cookies and topped with yogurt icing. Yale Street also offers humanely and sustainably sourced raw pet foods.

Jackson’s Place

Growing up, Deb Sullivan’s parents raised Great Danes and French bulldogs. Her love for the canine species inspired her to open Jackson’s Place, which offers a cage-less daycare and boarding experience for dogs.

Jackson’s Place is named in honor of Deb’s golden retriever and is best described as a dog’s home away from home. The doggie daycare also has an onsite canine bakery. The doors are open Mondays through Fridays, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The all-natural treats contain fine ingredients such as carob, yogurt, and peanut butter. So, you’ll find all of Fido’s favorite treats here, from doggie cupcakes to birthday cakes.

Three Dog Bakery

Nestled in Rice Village, Three Dog Bakery strives to offer the finest artisan treats to all canines. It claims to be the world’s original dog bakery, offering canine goodies made from the finest all-natural, pet-safe ingredients.

When you visit, a friendly Doberman named Treu will greet you; she loves interacting with visitors. When she’s not at the shop, Treu enjoys swimming, digging holes, and chasing small animals. Doggie treats you’ll find here include donuts, celebration cakes, seasonal treats, and dog bone sandwiches.
