We all understand how a person’s diet can make a lasting impact on their overall health. That’s why it’s important for children to start eating healthy when they are young. You can get involved and support the cause by going on May 22 to Houston’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry, an annual fundraiser that showcases different restaurant vendors. Ticket proceeds will help sponsor a child who does not have access to enough food. Taste of the Nation has raised over $2.5 million for No Kid Hungry since it began in 1988.
About No Kid Hungry

No Kid Hungry has a school breakfast program and provides free summer meals to needy kids. They also empower families to learn how to shop for and cook healthy meals at home. No Kid Hungry provides financial grants to other local and national organizations, like the Houston Food Bank, who are also working towards the same cause.
